The relationship between horse and owner is, for many, one that is very important! There is a special bond that happens between the true horse lover and their special 4 legged friend, companion and cohort. Our goal is to discover what you dream of in a horse and what challenges you may face within horse ownership and determine whether we have a horse that fills those needs. We encourage the new partners to develop a support system after you leave the Ranch, which greatly aids in a successful transition.
It is so sad to see horses passed from owner to owner simply because they were not a good match. Both parties suffer from the failed relationship, but the horse has little control over what happens next. We want to do as much as we can to assist you in choosing the best horse for you.
In order to find out what your needs are as a rider and what type of horse would be the best match, we prefer to speak to people personally. Emails often leave out a lot of details that are important when suggesting a good match. Many of our customers are beginner riders, first time horse owners and riders that are getting back to their passion after many years away. In those circumstances, we recommend scheduling a lesson with potential matches, in order to help determine what type of horse would be most suitable for your particular level, challenges and aspirations. By getting to know you and your ability in a lesson setting, we will be able to more accurately recommend the horses here that may be 'the one'. If we don't currently have the perfect horse for you we will continue to search for a wonderful match. Please feel free to give us a call at 802-293-5837 to discuss your needs, schedule viewings and lessons.

*AQHA Mares, and grade gelding just in!
"Morgan" is a 15h bay grade gelding with an 'M' brand on his back hip. Super safe and friendly horse. Is a SOLID trail horse, very stocky and safe. Stands, ground ties, self loads, and has quiet eyes. Straight legs, stands quiet for vet and farrier. Safe and reliable horse, would make a perfect husband or family horse. Has a nice neck rein and stop and would make a great fun all around horse. $2,750
MISS PRETTY POCO KIM" aka Kim is a 10yr old buckskin dun mare. Beautiful and pleasant girl. A nice well broke horse all the way around. Has been previously been used on cattle, trail rides like a dream, 4-H and open shows by her previous owner. Would make an absolute awesome family horse. No bad habits like pawing or pulling back. Always sound and healthy, never mare-ish! Blood lines go back to JESSIE JAMES and POCO BUENO. A VERY friendly and safe horse, always taking care of her rider. Has a great neck rein, quick stop, and super quiet. Would make a great beginner horse and something they could really move up with. $3,200
COYS DUSTY KIT or "Miss kitty" is an 11yr old 15h Registered AQHA mare. Sweet sweet sweet mare. Loads, clips, ties, hauls, and stands for farrier with no problems. Mostly trail ridden, but has had some previous ground work, and was introduced to reining a little by the previous owner at college. Has a cute in your pocket personality. Could go any direction. Make someone a very solid and fun trail horse. Has a nice neck rein and stop, and is always great to be around. $2,900
Diva is an adorable little Registered Morgan mare that does it all! She jumps, does ring work, and loves the trail! Diva has no sound issues, always 100% with solid hoofs. She is super friendly, safe and sane. No vices! $1500
Mighty Good Bar is a Registered six year old Thoroughbred Gelding. Goody is registered with the Jockey Club. Although he has never raced, he has a certificate of foal nomination from the International Hunter Futurity and has a certificate from the United States Equestrian Federation recording him for life with USEF a $2000+ value. He is sired by Bar, a sire of many hunter champions. Goody showed extensively as a colt and won many championships, you can see his show records below. Goody has an absolutely gorgeous build, beautiful gaits and is a comfy ride . He is an absolute doll, loves to be loved on with and is willing to stand tied for hours to accommodate your fussing. He has super laid back and sensible attitude. Even when faced with something new he feels super solid and confident underneath you. We have started him out on the trail and he is faced all the newness with a great attitude that is curious and solid. When he has been startled it has been a quiver in place. He is great to work around, is very tolerant of all the ranch commotion and is fun to engage and play with on the ground and under saddle. This guy was trained by a top trainer as a youngster and than lightly worked for the last couple of years. Goody is a diamond in the rough and ready for someone to bring him to his full potential - which is significant. Given 60 -90 days this guy will easily be worth double or triple what he is now. He has the talent, looks and attitude to do anything you want, jump, dressage, english pleasure, cross country, trail and western too. We don't usually match Thoroughbreds, but he is one we could not pass up - with such a great quiet head on his shoulders and pleasure to work with. He will clip, load, bathe, stand tied for hours walk right by a shop vacuum without raising an eyebrow, follow out on the trail through mud and water and lead out with a confident rider. His perfect match would be an experienced rider that could bring him to his full potential. He has been willing to tolerate a beginner as well, as he is not spooky and has a laid back attitude, but I do not think a beginner would do this horse justice. He is willing to jump and is easy coming off the jump, ready to walk off on a loose rein - needs to be schooled up all around. He will follow you around like a dog with his head down. Goody lunges like a dream and responds to voice command on the line. $5000
